Homeschool Co-op
Education aid for homeschooling parents under the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.
In the spirit of the Apostolic constitution Sacrae Disciplinae Legis (Pope John Paul II, 1983), Catholic parents are graced by Christ to exercise the charism of teaching their children in fidelity to the magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church.
The St. Francis de Sales Homeschool Co-op exists as an aid to parents who desire support while forming their children intellectually, spiritually, and socially for the greater glory of God and His universal Church.
- Faithful instruction rooted in Catholic doctrine and sacramental life.
- Academic collaboration that strengthens home study plans.
- Healthy social direction rooted in virtue and joyful fraternity.
- Encouragement and practical assistance for parents in their homeschooling vocation.
The Co-op operates under the leadership of the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest through the Rector of St. Francis de Sales Oratory. A lead volunteer, appointed by the Rector, coordinates day-to-day affairs and collaborates with other volunteers to keep the co-op thriving.
All parents are considered volunteers of the co-op and are periodically called upon to serve. Suggestions, questions, or concerns from registered families are first presented to the lead volunteer, who will bring matters to the Rector when needed.
